Why We Built DeskTrust, Byvano, and RxCompliant

Every product starts with a problem. Here are the three problems that led us to build DeskTrust, Byvano, and RxCompliant — and why we believe these problems are worth solving.

DeskTrust: The Remote Work Visibility Gap

The problem: When we started managing remote contractors, we had no idea how they spent their work hours. Were they actually working during the hours they billed? Which tasks took the most time? Were there productivity bottlenecks we could help with?

Existing employee monitoring tools fell into two camps: enterprise solutions like Teramind that cost $15-25 per user per month and required IT infrastructure, or simple time trackers like Toggl that relied on self-reporting (defeating the purpose).

Our solution: DeskTrust captures periodic screenshots, tracks application usage, and generates AI-powered activity summaries — all for $24.99/month with no per-user fees on the Starter plan. It runs silently in the background with a native desktop portal (no browser login needed), and it handles away-status detection like Microsoft Teams.

Key differentiator: Transparency. Employees always know when monitoring is active, they can see the same data their manager sees, and monitoring automatically pauses outside work hours. We believe monitoring should build trust, not destroy it.

Byvano: The Video Commerce Gap

The problem: Ecommerce brands spend thousands creating TikToks, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. These videos drive millions of views on social platforms — but when viewers click through to the brand's website, they land on a static product page. The video magic is gone.

The incumbent shoppable video tools (Tolstoy, Videowise) were built for enterprise brands with enterprise budgets ($299-999/month). Small and mid-sized Shopify merchants — the ones creating the most engaging social content — were priced out.

Our solution: Byvano lets merchants import their existing social videos, tag products directly in the video with a visual editor, and display beautiful shoppable video widgets (carousel, grid, stories) on their storefront. Starting at $0/month for the Free plan, $29/month for Starter.

Key differentiator: We focus on the Shopify ecosystem with a native Shopify app, theme app extension, and one-click product tagging. Import a TikTok, tag products, publish a widget — done in 5 minutes.

RxCompliant: The Healthcare Compliance Gap

The problem: Selling medical devices online (CPAP machines, hearing aids, nebulizers) legally requires a valid prescription from a licensed provider. Most online retailers handle this manually: customers email or fax a prescription, staff review it by hand, call the prescriber's office to verify, then approve the order. This process takes 20+ hours per week for a mid-sized retailer and is error-prone.

There were no affordable, automated solutions for small retailers. The existing options were either manual processes or expensive enterprise compliance platforms.

Our solution: RxCompliant uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to analyze prescription documents automatically — detecting letterhead, signatures, prescriber information, and matching against the federal NPI registry. High-confidence prescriptions are auto-approved; flagged ones go to a review queue. Integration takes one line of JavaScript.

Key differentiator: AI-first verification that actually works. Our system catches fraudulent prescriptions that manual reviewers miss, while auto-approving legitimate ones in seconds instead of hours.

The Common Thread

All three products share a philosophy:

1. Solve a real problem that real businesses face every day
2. Price for small businesses — not enterprises. If a solo Shopify merchant or a 5-person remote team cannot afford it, the price is too high
3. Automate the tedious — use AI and automation to eliminate repetitive manual work
4. Be transparent — whether it is employee monitoring, video analytics, or prescription processing, users should always know what is happening with their data

What is Next for Seztech

We are expanding each product's capabilities while staying true to these principles. DeskTrust is adding AI-powered productivity coaching. Byvano is expanding beyond Shopify to WooCommerce and BigCommerce. RxCompliant is building integrations with electronic health record systems.
